Graham wins tower project in Edmonton's Ice District

Graham’s buildings team in Edmonton has won a C$200m contract to deliver the Block BG tower in the city’s Ice sports and entertainment district.

Ice District is located in the heart of downtown Edmonton and is intended to become Canada’s largest mixed-use sports, entertainment, retail, residential and office area.

The newest addition to the 25-acre development, Block BG, will be a 43-storey, mixed-use tower. The space includes 568 residential suites, totaling 46,452m2, a rooftop park, and a three-level retail podium totaling 23,225m2.

Construction on the project is expected to begin in December 2017, with an anticipated completion date of April 2020.
